Engr. Wunmi Oloyede

Engineer Wunmi Oloyede is a seasoned Civil and Construction Engineer with a passion. He was trained at the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria where he obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), respectively in Civil Engineering. Adeleke Oloyede began his career in 1990 as a trainee engineer with Hidroad Construction (Nig.) Ltd., Lagos where he worked as an Assistant Site Engineer. He assisted the Site Engineer in supervising two twin-duplexes at the Victoria-Island Extension in Lagos. During the compulsory national assignment with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 1995, he worked with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Pavement Evaluation Unit (PEU), Kaduna. At the PEU, he was part of the team that carried out Preliminary Survey of Roads, Data Collection, Evaluation and Analysis of Roads in Enugu, Anambra, Ondo and Oyo States. This was a World Bank Assisted Project. After completing his National Assignment in 1996, he joined Rivy (Nig.) Ltd. as an assistant Civil Engineer and worked there until 1998. He was primarily involved in design works, preparation of contract documents and construction of both civil and building works. Between 1998 and 2004, Oloyede worked with Shegs-Contracts (Nig.) Ltd. as the Site Engineer on some significant projects at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. In 2005, he was invited to assist the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA’s) Project Manager on some huge Capital Projects at the Oil and Gas Free Zone, Onne, Rivers State as the Technical Assistant. These projects were constructed concurrently; among them were four (4) state-of-the-art Jetty Projects and, Dredging and Reclamation Works. On these projects, Prodeco International Limited was the Contracting Firm while Ebcon Engineering And Construction (Nig.) Ltd. and Ladiom Associates were the Consultants to NPA. Since late 2007, Oloyede has been actively functioning as the Executive Project Manager at the Bliss Services Limited, a Building and Civil Engineering firm. Adeleke is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Engineering software. Engineer Oloyede serves as an expert to the World Bank and Association of African Universities. He is a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Nigerian Institute of Civil Engineers (NICE) and Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). As an Executive Director, he is the Chief Operation Officer of Shekelsfield Nigeria Limited saddles with the responsibilities of infrastructure, operations and logistics services.
